Choosing the Right Realtor®

Buying or selling a home should an exciting experience but it also can be nerve wrecking. There is the thrill of the hunt and the excitement of the deal. The whole process is enhanced by a good real estate agent who knows the ins and outs of the market. But with so many brokerages and agents out there to choose from, finding a perfect fit may be more of a challenge than you expected. Working with a top agent who is experienced and trustworthy can go a long way in ensuring your property sells at top dollar, or that you buy for the best price in the market.

3 Key Things to Look for When you are Selecting an Agent:

Experience in your Local Market

Where does your agent work primarily, have they helped clients in the neighborhoods you are shopping for a home? Do they have experience around the entire metro area?

I have helped clients all over the Denver Metro area buy and sell homes. My clients have purchased real estate in Littleton, Lakewood, Denver, Arvada, Morrison, Golden, Aurora, Commerce City, Englewood, Centennial, Castle Rock, Kennesburg and Colorado Springs.

Communication and Accessibility

First and foremost, you need to feel completely comfortable talking and communicating with the real estate agent. Clear and open lines of communication are very important when writing up offers, searching for properties and working together. More importantly when you need your agent , their availability to be there for you is key. When the right house pops up on the market you need to be able to see the property quickly so you can move in a competitive market.

I am a full time agent, and I am very responsive to my clients. I am accessible by phone, text and e-mail from 9am-9pm everyday of the week.

Negotiation Skills

Whether you are buying or selling a home there will come multiple times throughout the deal where your agent will need to negotiate on you behalf. You may need to negotiate dates for inspections, appraisals and closing. Once you go through inspections you may find items that need to be addressed or fixed. The right agent will ensure your best interest are being advocated for.

I am a certified Real Estate Negotiation Expert (RENE), this coupled with my experience will give you edge and make sure you are getting the best deal possible.
